For any of you who missed the Domenic Troiano Tribute concert which aired last week on CBC Radio 2 – FM 94.1 “Canada Live”, I’ve posted a recording below. Click on the play button to begin listening.

To those unfamiliar, this is a tribute to guitarist/composer/producer Domenic Troiano, who passed away in May 2005 at the age of 59. It was the 2nd annual tribute in his honour, taking place at the Palais Royale, featuring many performances from both family and friends.

Just listened to the Canada Live recording of the tribute to Donnie. Great stuff. Thanks for doiing this. Wish we’d been able to make it.
The nicest thing about that night for me, even though I wasn’t there, was that friends who were there managed to put me in touch with our old lead guitar player from the 60s, Donnie Ogilvie.
Cheers,
Nick Dougherty

sorry Andrew, but Donnie was not ’something’ of a legend, he WAS and still IS a legend.
The recording was much appreciated. thanks to the CBC

I need to clarify two things…. I didn’t play guitar on two of the songs featured in the show. Those songs were 10,000 Men (Neil Chapman played guitar), and I Can Hear You Calling. A friend of Domenic’s named Sam played guitar on that.
